Hyundai introduces the new Clix concept car at the IAA in Frankfurt
Hyundai has announced that the Clix concept car will be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2001.
This concept car belongs to the family of FAV (Fun Activity Vehicle) and unifies the characteristic abilities of a coupe with those of a Pick-Up and an SUV. The Clix features a 2.2 liter gasoline engine (225 kW), permanent four-wheel drive, 19" wheels and a power glass sunroof.
Key dimensions are as follows:
Length 3,959 mm
Width 1,738 mm
Height 1,300 mm
Wheelbase 2,450 mm

WTF? That looks badass
. But, uh, how can they pull 250hp out of a 2.0L, 300hp out of a 2.2L, but only 175hp out of the GK's 2.7L?

.The WRX isn't that bad...it only has 3! The "offending" one that is horrible is between the engine and the turbo. Needless to say the first thing the aftermarket did was create a straight pipe that bolts in place of that sucker...Then they just put the cat back on come emissions time!
Some eulev Hondas have 4 cats (I4 4 cat Accord). It actually HEATS the first cat prior to start up to make sure it is up to temp!
I think I have a real photo of that concept car. I believe it was at the NY autoshow couple of years ago but then again i could be wrong but it looks exactly the same. Maybe I can dig it up and post it.
