Hyundai Aftermarket Contest -- WIN A BRAND NEW GENESIS COUPE!
Shameless plug for one of our vendors....
BTRcc is providing the tuning for turbokits.com, and has just put down 402hp and 346 ft/lbs on their V6 Genesis Coupe turbo project.
Ok, we can officially say that the tune is complete. 402WHP and 346 Ft Lbs of Torque at 7.5 PSI.
This is at the wheel ladies and gentlemen and on a Mustang DYNO which from the stock numbers you can see is showing a 25% drivetrain / DYNO loss. Add those numbers back (*536 HP / 460 Tq*) and I think you'll start to understand what this car is now capable of
!!!
We will also run a more conservative tune in the ~370-380WHP range for those that are looking for the fun without pushing the limits of the motor. Those of you who don't care or want an excuse to build your motor, well you can get the higher boost MAP and enjoy.
BTRcc as I mentioned did an outstanding job on the tune. The best line of the night, which will be in the video that BTRcc is putting together of the runs and the car on the street, inside, etc. The owner of the car, who mind you has been waiting patiently for over a year for this day says "It's just like I am driving a stock car, but with ****load more HP". This is exactly what we aim for in our product development. Peak numbers are great to argue about, but who is going to buy this kit if they can only enjoy it for a small run at the top of the RPMs, or if they are getting CELs, or they can't sit in traffic too long, or can only drive it when it's perfect weather or it will stall? NO ONE. No one is going to spend $30K+ on a car and then give up on using it as a car! Anyway, off my soapbox. Here is the DYNO. I'll post the vids as soon as BTRcc finishes them. Enjoy!
Hey maybe I am wronggg but couldnt all of the funny videos and other nonsense being posted in the off topic section be posted in this thread? Then everyone would see it and the Genesis Coupe won't be out of production by the time this thread ends. Just sayin
