had to fix the wife's 07 Accent this week. It broke down for the first time ever! Started sputtering and running on 3 cylinders. Changed the plugs and the problem went away at idle but was still there under load. Changed one of the coil packs and we were good to go! I repaired it in the Hyundai dealership front lot. The salesman don't like you working on your car in the front lot. LOL!
fyi - 1 coil pack for the accent was $100! OUCH! At least it's fixed.

$100 for a new coil pack on an 07 accent? That's cheap as chips! Non genuine coil packs go for $160 here, dealers charge much more than that.
All of my dohc alphas have chewed coil packs, or come with busted coil packs. I want to find out why they die.

I saw this on another forum:
This goes out to all you mountain pass heroes, every champion of the Stoplight Grand Prix. For everyone living cold showers and ramen to pay for their build, and everyone wrenching on a car that hasn't run in months. For all of you out there that ever stared at a smashed up chassis, or who ever nervously got back on the bike. If you've ever been the one who revved back, who fired up the smoke show in an empty lot, who ever popped the hood to show this kid the deal, who waxed some punk who was all mouth and no throttle, or who ever got asked why you don't just drive something "normal", I want you to know you're my hero.
Thanks for keeping the dream alive.
It was too big to sig.

So if that rate continues, (which I doubt it will, its clearly slowing down) it will take 5 years for this contest to end haha. So 4.5 years from now, it will be the end of 2016. And one lucky person will win a 2011 Genesis Coupe. Which will be worth approx. $9000 by then and be almost 6 years old.
Not saying I would still never pass that up or anything haha, but simply showing that this is still not moving fast enough.
