...

That doesn't make sence. He is never around the forums and is pretty much unknown. That's one of the guys Tony was telling me months ago was going to take over the site when he was thinking of leaving it alone. I figured he was one of the folks that hadn't returned Tony's emails and such too.

So now the nominations are closed (Tom wasn't nominated once), and all the nominations were deleted. WTF?

Oh well.

I dont' get it either, man. I've only seen that guy post once since I've been a member there. I think the only reason that he even posted was because I was bagging on the prices at his store. I was talking about how all of the exhaust stuff there was the same as SSautochrome, but way more expensive and he jumped into the topic. I didnt' even know that he was in the forum. The only thing I can figure is that maybe he has kind of been silet partner in the background. I remember going to the main entrance in the past and it saying that "the forum was back up thanks to Tom at Import Shark" so I guess he must have played a role in the past. I guess this turn of events really shows that it wasn't the members list. I hope a bunch of people jump on over here.

I'm willing to redo the site, possibly even sort up all the DIY guides, and keep HA.com site alive...though...I call not having to pay for hosting it. wink1.gif

But yeah...if you guys haven't seen the original redesigned concept site for HA.com...it's located here:

http://www.chariot32.com/HAcom

Of course, the main part of the site will be redone again...because I'm really not please with how it looks...and on the 800th glance over the site...that logo on the top left looks cheesy...but yeah. I'm definitely up for that ish. I had a lot of positive feedback suggesting that the site was really nice (or at least the intro page looks bad-ass).

It's all up to JavaGeek and Redz to make the call though...if Javageek/Tom (creator of ImportShark.com), are willing to do it instead, go ahead.[/url]

Dude that is awesome. I should have had you do this site. smile.gif As far as what has been posted, Tom at importshark is taking it over. He isn't affiliated with this site, as far as I know he isn't a member either.

I second the snagging of the DIY stuff and getting it here if it is not already here. I don't want to have to go anywhere other than here to get info if at all possible because most every other forum has pissed me off in one way or another. We need all the info we can get here.

Artic... very nice design.

We need to snag the DIY stuff.... just to preserve it. If it's found in more than one location, we can make sure it's preserved and kept for future reference. Also pull the picture files with it, so the links don't die

...

You wouldn't belive it.

I had like 8 votes to Java having 2.

All the votes and nominations got deleted and the thread locked.

Tom from Importshark.com is taking it over.

WTF?

I like the guy and all but come on, he's never on any of the forums is he?
