Well it looks like the hurricane season is hitting us hard. Dennis is a category 3 already and it looks like we may be evacuating again. The good news is if it stays to the west of me I will be able to evacuate to Daytona.... Guess what is happening next week. fing02.gif That's right... Tibathon! cool.gif

Take care Java.
I'm about to be hit by whats left of Cindy. This is the first time I wished I didn't have a CAI. But hopefully I'll be able to leave work before the worst of it gets here. Just drizzling now.
Be safe, and Enjoy Tibathon if you get to go.

I'm not sure where I will be going now. It looks like this one may hit us dead on, so Eastern Florida is probably out of the question. Maybe I'll go get a cabin in the Smokies.... fing02.gif

Uhmmm, no. We are not required to go to Maxwell. They changed that. Plus, I am not part of an AMU, so we are not mission essential. During Ivan I had a week long vacation at the in-laws house in Cabot Arkansas.

This applies to me too, but im not evacuating nana.gif . My family never evacuates. After Ivan, all we had to do was clean up all the debris that came from the neighbors. In fact, I went swimming in my pool during Ivan haha! Had a vid but my hardrive crashed a few months ago 02.gif

Us military people do not have a choice. If they say evacuate we evacuate, or else we face disciplinary action.

Si si, when my dad was still active military we had to go into shelter during Opal. I really don't mind the hurricane aftermath EXCEPT the no electricity part!
Any suggestions on things I should get to take up my time? PSP etc.?
Life without a microwave is horrible.
