Import Xpression and DCM7thGEN (NewCelica.org) are presenting a free BBQ at Lake Fairfax Park in Reston, VA on April 19th, 2003 from Noon to 5 pm. The BBQ is sponsored by Import Xpression’s IMPORT SHOWCASE at the Dulles Expo Center on May 10th, 2003. http://www.importxpression.com This BBQ will be held rain or shine.
This event, in the past, has drawn over 200 cars of every make and model. There is ample parking for everyone.

This meet is gonna be great! All Hyundais in the area need to come and represent. It's gonna be huge! I saw the lists of people coming. 40+ Celicas, 30+ RSXs, S2000s, WRXs, Lancers, different Honda models, etc. Some kid even said that he'll bring his Dad's Murcielago. I don't know if that's gonna happen but there will be lots of sweet cars. I hope we can show them what we got too.

Here are the directions to the Lake Fairfax Park: take Beltway (I-495) Exit 47A which is Route 7 or Leesburg Pike WEST to a left on Baron Cameron Avenue to the second left on Lake Fairfax Drive.
The BBQ will be at Shelter 1 in Lake Fairfax Park (the same place that it was last year).

I think we should all meet in one place and caravan there all together.
Let's meet at Office Depot parking lot at around 11:00am. We will leave at 11:30. This Office Depot is right on Route 7.

Directions: take Beltway (I-495) exit 47A towards Leesburg Pike (Route 7) West/Tyson's Corner. Drive approximately 1.8-2 miles. Office Depot will be on your right. As soon as you see McDonalds and Citibank, slow down, it is right after. There is also Ethan Allen store next to it. So the parking lot is pretty big. And it's hard to miss it.

Lil Tiby, you don't need to have a special car to come. smile.gif Just show up and meet local Hyundai owners. Check out the rides and maybe you'll get some ideas from others on what to do with your car and what kind of mods to get.

Khara, I really hope you can make it! You gotta show off your car! It is truely amazing! And you probably got even more mods since the last time I saw it.

 

To follow up....hittman(gt03) will be there also, rolling up with me, in his kitted camry...it is damn nice I do say so myself!! Definitly looking foward to the meet!

 

yeah bluegt...i'll be there. some of my friends w/ corollas will probably roll up there too. i've always wanted to know more hyundai owners in the area too. don't really see too many of them...but then again i work a lot. well i'll see everyone there.

I will have my digital camera and will take lots of pix. Elantra2.001 said that he might be able to bring a digital camcorder so we can make a nice video!

 

Just updated the list! Anyone else interested in coming to this meet? There should be more people in the area!

BTW, guys, the meet "officially" ends at 5pm. But I am sure we can stay there longer if we want to. So what everyone is planning to do after the meet? We could all go cruising around. Take some nice pix and make a video maybe. Or if anyone wants, we could all go and play some lasertag. What do you guys think? Any suggestions? Anyone familiar with the area and knows any attractions nearby?
