haha i was surprised when he said "youtube" and then the kid playing music showed up.

yeah that's quite amazing, any degree the hubble telescope looks at it will find a neverending stream of galaxies. if our galaxy is 78 billion light years large, imagine how big all those hundreds and thousands of galaxies must be out there...

makes me think it's nice to be safe on the ground here. space is beyond comprehension.

our galaxy isnt that big, thats just the farthest we've been able to see into the universe. our galaxy is only 100 light years across if i remember correctly.

It is the thought that space goes on FOREVER. There is no end. You can't just fly the edge of it.

For us in out daily lives there is a start and an end to everything. Space has no start or ending...

Think about that for a minute. cool.gif

I LOVED that class! Tough, but awsome! I'd be an astronomer if I coulf get a job in the field, but it's unlikely. Most Astronomers end up teaching, not actually doing the research and discovering.

I loved it. One of my favorite classes ever.

My instructor was also a Physics Teacher, but he was more into the history and current discovery than math and physics. I loved that class, very easy, but so much frigging fun and good info.

I hear a LOT of you guys have to do some horrible math in that class.

LOL

Sorry guys.
