Mad, I'd hate to have to change those silly little brown discs constantly and would throw a fit. How did you keep your cool?
I only get cranky after I have been up over 20 hours.. other wise I am one of the most patient people you will probably ever meet. Not much in life is worth getting your panties in bunch over.

how thick is the sheet metal moo? if its pretty thin, you should be able to cut thru it with the metal dics in a flash..
it also wont have a chance to tear it like a jigsaw might.
i have used these wheels on everything since i got em including: cutting raidator support, fenders on my car, fiberglass parts, etc. they work like a charm and last a long time.
air cut off wheels are always the best route, but a dremel is SO much more convenient than having to hook up/buy all the parts to use air tools.

For thinner metal, you use a jigsaw with higher tooth count. Once you get to about 28 per inch, you can't really bend metal with the jigsaw. it cuts slower though.

I did my hood scoop hole with a dremel and cutoff wheels smile.gif. definitely would have liked a rotozip or similar cutter though

Bliz, that sucks man.
Maxx, I might have to take you up on that for the future but for now I'm just wanting to try something new. The next project of mine is to learn to weld. )

If anyone ever needs anything let me know, to bad you don't live closer as I would teach you how to weld, go buy a good book on how to do it, thats how I learned and now I better than most guys who went to school for it.
