The Fail: Horrendous traffic jams due to construction? no reason?
The Win: People who can beat that system!
The Fail: Shoveling dirt out of the gutter - what happened to street sweepers?
The Win: Driving backwards in oncoming traffic!
WIN!!!

I totally did this today!!!!!
I was at a huge, well known community-wide yard sale with my wife this morning, and got down this one road that was completely packed. I got stuck in a side street - cars were unable to move forward at all (parked cars made for 1 lane of traffic, and there were cars trying to go both directions), and I wasn't able to back out either. However, the vehicle behind me barely was able to turn around, and started heading back out with just enough room. I couldn't turn around where I was, so I simply drove backwards, tailing the car that had just turned around, all the way back to the main road! It was a relatively long ways, and the only thing I could think of the entire time was this video clip.
It felt great, and my wife was actually pretty impressed.
