Car, first try. CDL, 2 tries only because the trainer told me I could do something I couldn't. I think in every state, you should be limited to two tries per year. If you fail twice, you have to wait a year to try again.

I think scandanavian drivers tests include a wet skid pad. I think that's a great idea.

Anyways, i copped out and did the thing where you take like a 2 or 3 day driving class and at the end they give you a little skills test and if you pass you get a piece of paper you take to the DMV and you get your license. I passed first try, my instructor was an old cop and had me go on an empty stretch of road and slam on the brakes once i got to 55. it was scary lol.

I totally agree with elderly being retested more frequently V! I'm saying every year after 65 would be just fine.

I failed once because my horn didnt work...I was so mad I was going to use the instructor as the horn, duct taped to the front of my car. lol
