The east coast heat wave has been a big thing in the news lately. It was in the 90's the last couple of days and supposed to be even hotter today (closer to 100). How hot is it where everyone else is?

Thank goodness for central a/c and a swimming pool!

Havent seen my landscapers in a couple of weeks though since the grass hasnt been growing. We havent received any rain in quite a while. No need to cut the grass if everything is brown and dead. *haha*

i wish that was the case for me, it rains so much down here in PR that my landscapes comes every three weeks and every time he has his work cut out for him, i think the grass in my house is mutant or something it grows extremeley fast

as for the heat, in my town the high today is 96 but with the heat index it will be well over 105

Every 3 weeks? Damn...thats too long. During the spring, when it was raining alot here, the grass grew like crazy. My landscapers are supposed to come every Thursday to do the lawn care and edging. But since there has been literally zero rain in probably a good couple of weeks...everything is dead. I think we're supposed to finally get a break from the heat and get some rain starting on Sunday though. So hopefully it happens.

Over 95 every day for the last few weeks. It's been hovering right at or above 100. Yesterday was 99 with a Heat Index of 110 at 11am!!! We got some isolated showers and the temperature DROPPED to 79º - I was so excited that I went home and changed my oil

Not having to change the oil in a turbo while it's 100+ heat index ------ PRICELESS!!!
