How hard is it to wakeboard?

How hard is it to wakeboard?
Anyone here done it? I can waterski pretty good so wondering if wakeboarding would be easier or harder. Thinking about trying it out this weekend with a couple of friends. horsey.gif

it's tons of fun, different than skiing. Girls can get up easy, right away.
With a water skiing background, you have the idea of keeping weight back and letting your legs do the work instead of arms (to get up).
I suck at both, but a friend of mine is amazing at wakeboarding. He jumps wakes and does 360 turns like crazy - looks more fun to me but I'm nowhere near that level. It took me several attempts to get up on the board, and I only stayed up for 15 seconds, but I can't water ski at all.
