Had a convo about this with some friends. When you were a kid and did something bad how did your parents discipline you? Spankings, beat with a belt (hahaha), groundings, sent to your room, no dinner, stand in the corner, etc? Lets hear it.

And those of you with or want kids, will you or have you done the same disciplinary actions as what your parents did to you?

 

It was spanking and a whole lot of vulgar screaming from dad. Mom only hit me once. It was with her favorite wooden spoon, and I turned around and laughed at her. That's where dad took over. Guess in retrospect, maybe I shouldn't have laughed......................

 

I was never hit or anything. I would get grounded, but for only like a day and then I would be let out again to do what ever. I was generally a good kid though, so I didnt really have alot of punishment.

I think I got smacked on the bottom a few times when I was real young. As soon as I hit near my teenage years my parents didnt really do anything anymore.

 

Spanks from dad when I was young. I'd get the "wait 'till your father gets home". The terror of knowing all day what was coming later was worse than the actual spanking. When I got older, extra chores and no lunch money for school, I'd have to bring lunch.

 

My older bro and I are only 3 years apart, so we were always fighting and arguing haha, we got whippins almost every other day, then they started not hurting..so we'd start laughin, and get more..lol so then we started just puttin a pillow over our faces so they wouldnt know we were laughing. and then about our teen years, we started getting "grounded"..that didnt work very well haha

 

Hmmm.. Lets see.. I was spanked with hands, belts and a paddle once. I have been grounded, everything taken away including my door (Cuz I slammed it), mouth washed out with a bar of soap... Taken and left in my dad's rig while he was a work in winter with no heater just a blanket. That's just a quick list I can think of.

Ok so I tried to kill my brother on multiple occasions but he totally deserved it and had I actually been able to succeed we wouldn't have had the problems of him be a d super meth head and steal our sh*t!!
