Can I run the air conditioning in the house without a filter overnight? It won't damage or overheat the system or anything will it?

smile.gif the old one was clogged good so i took it out but i couldn't get measurements to buy a new one because it's for my sister's place while she's on vacation.
my mom thinks it will blow the unit. haha...

Tibs run AC without an air filter and you dont see them blowing up HAHAHA... 1 night is ok, but you dont want to get a lot of crap in there....
