Yeah, unfortunately I think most cops get the vehicle info from your registration/insurance.
I bet it could happen though - without insurance, I think you'd have a decent chance of having them say it's a Honda lol.
If you badged it as a Honda, now that would just be funny. Everyone would think you're dumb, but they wouldn't know the genious behind it lol

Vehicle: N/A as in Not Applicable, not Naturally Aspirated
the cop thing has worked. He stated my car was a honda and he said it was blue (cuz that's what insurance thinks).
So I went to court, they said I was speeding in a blue Honda Coupe and I said I drive a black HyunDAI Tiburon and they said "have a nice day" LOL
So, I never knew the story on the 2003 tiburons. ...they were going to continue the RD chassis? What happened to 2002, Hyundai just got lazy?
Were these cars going to be sold like shown above (with the racing stripes?) Too bad it never happened, we'd probably be a much bigger community right now.

haha i have to quote you on that. that's too funny. haha.gif
the 2002 tiburons were the GK's but sold as 2003 models. so january 2002 you were lucky to see one rich @$$ guy driving the freshest model 2003 tiburon out back when they were spectacular to see. just like right now, in 2005 all of the sonatas are 2006 models hence "2006 sonata" they usually prevail until about september but i guess hyundai let loose the GK tiburon in january for some reason.
the racing striped hyundai was released but only a few made in canada called SE "special edition". that's where the shark spoiler came to life and was introduced in 1999 hence that spriped model is why we have shark spoilers in the first place. i love the history of our parts. no hondas can match that kind of history!! --and they will never ever have an F2 Wing for a GK anymore so our cars are deluxe! Take that!
