That's just funny, and btw I have owned 3 different Rx-7s and never had a problem with knock or fuel tuning. The hardest part was dealing with the stupid carb in the first gen. Putting an american engine in an Rx is blasphemy...

 

the LS1 is actually lighter and the torque curve is alittle better... thats why they do the swap.

 

Yeah, Yeah but it's still just wrong. Why have an Rx if you don't like playing with the rotary? With some work, I could MAKE a lot of engines fit the Tib, but I don't because I like the car and I like to play with the engine that's in it. That and it would cost a butt load to do the fabrication and actual engine swap...*sigh* to each his own I guess.
