OK...thought some of you might like to see these. Keep in mind how dark it is at a HIN show. I did the best I could in that enviornment.

Oh thank you!!! That just made my day

Do not get me wrong. I love the show and there are some incredible cars there. I also see cars that are dirtier than mine in the parking lot. I am very aware of how the judging works but not all the cars there are show cars. I could find serious dirt on 75% of them easy.

I was talking to a HIN judge at the last car show I went to. He said clenliness is the #1 thing they look for. They have a sheet that they have to go by. Because everyone mods their vehicle in different methods, has different oppinions, and what not, they have to judge based on modifications, clean installs, origonality, and clenliness. If you have a dirty car at HIN, you'll probly loose.

I'd be too embarissed to bring my car to HIN because i can't afford more then 2 days away to go to a show and HIN would require at least 3.

as for that red tib, the judges screwed up and they gave him a prize that should have gone to another buddy on NT. The judges put cars into the wild and mild categories completely backwards. The kid in the red RD1 sounded normal until I asked him what was under the hood. Then he went from speaking like a normal person, to this:

His response was some close to this "I haven't done much yet, but this summer i'm going to be converting to RWD, and putting in an rx7 motor, one of the twin turbos, then i'm going to drop the car." My head was so swelled up the crap he just spewed, I nodded and left. I don't blatanlty mean to be an ass, but seriously. I was the only person that walked up to him, and I had already told him I had an RD and told him about rdtiburon.com. Theres no need for that.

good times tho wink1.gif
