How do I get videos from dvd's onto it? What software do I use and is the software safe?

free dvd capture softwares blow, every one i've tried.

Yeah, I was going to just reuse the software I use to put dvds onto my psp but then I don't know if that'll work either.

Just download the movies instead. Then convert them to .gp3

I use ImTOO MPEG Encoder, its the best one of know of.

I messed around with pspvideo9 and I got it to work for my ipod. The videos from psp work on Ipods too, you just have to change the resolution.

I dont know what format you need for the ipod, but I've used Mpeg Mediator (free) quite sucesfully to convert DVD video files to XviD/DivX.
