daily, this is one of the reasons debian is my favorite distro. I'm using centos on my server now, might switch to ubuntu server next time.
I'd actually be using debian for about a year when I found out about this. The story goes that a debian developer working on the debian package manager would randomly moo while writing code. so someone slipped in that easter egg and it's been in there ever since. (for those not in the know ubuntu is a fork of debian.)
