Sorry, at first glance looks too much like a Ford Escort "GT"

After looking at it a tad more...it looks like a riced out Ford Taurus.

And before you ask...Yes, I read the engine specs and even did the translation to HP/FT.lbs.

I'd love the engine...but in another, better looking platform please...

 

Nice but knowing ford it would be too pricey, at least for me.

 

Looks like a Taurus? rolleyes.gif Not even close. This is Ford Australia's 4-door Mustang. They are quite fast and pretty good cars. Don't see a bit of Escort in there anywhere.

Now, if you are referring to Europe's Escort - the Cosworth Escort, now that would be a compliment.

But, this shows again how American car companies continue to build great cars......outside North America and keep them out of NA.

Yeah....great business sense. rolleyes.gif And these morons wonder why imports continue to gain market share. Duh!

I like it....mainly becuase of the power it makes. Could use a sportier look but I'd still drive it with pride.

 

I love my Fords. Always have, always will.
First thing I saw in the pic was a 'milder' Focus front end. I think it'd be a nice replacement (even if just asthetically) for the Focus or Escort ZX2.

 

Did anyone else read that the "t-series" had a 5.6L v8, or is it just me??
