Like OP said, they got the worst cars together for their review. 3cyl 1.5L diesel... Give me a break.

It'd be like putting a TVR (any) up against a Toyota (any) in a reliability test... The Toyota would win but I'd still rather have a TVR.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but I thought some things he said were funny. Such as it was better to ride a pogo stick and the torque suddenly appearing and then going away.

 

lol, there were definitely some funny lines in there...BUT, one of them did mention toward the end that they were the ones available on the "UK market" and then admitted the ones that are priced consistantly with euro cars are as good...that's ridiculous to compare something that isn't even in the same class...they're cheap in price because theyre cheaply made...who would expect a 3 cyl diesel to be powerful...no one intelligent, that's for damn sure...but the idea behind hyundai when it was founded was to fill the void of the automotive market of entry level vehicles...and they did that, obviously well too because they started with only a Hyundai Excel in 1986 with no market share in the american market to holding 2 percent of the market in 2004 along with 8 models with an available 30 trims between them...to say that a 1.5L diesel from the cheapest possible make of an Accent is even comparible with the 2.0L or 2.7L (although its not the most efficient V6 in the world obviously) is ridiculous...well...I'm done ranting because I'm kind of annoyed and servers only have so much memory...

 

They should have compared them to soem of the cheap euro cars lmao.gif I saw one Tib in Paris the whole time, the guy was very well dressed made my day to see a tib (amazingly beautiful)

how could you possibly feel offended when they are talking about a 3cyl diesel? Even though I have a Hyundai, I'm not ashamed of it like I would be if I owned any of those vehicles....
