Well guys, looks like Rita just became a catagory 5 hurricane. I will work for a while tomarrow and then I will be called off. I don't believe it will hit where I'm at as the eye is projected to land northward which means we'll get some wind and rain but not the brunt of it, assuming the hurricane turns northward like it's supposed to. If not, I'm outta here.. any of you Texas guys have anything planned?

That's extremely considerate of you dragun. Seriously, that's cool man.

I think we'll be seeing alot of that in the coming days.

this is seriously horrible. the people who made it out of new orleans now have another hurricane just asa strong coming for them. my heart goes out to everyone in the gulf area. i cant even imagine how much it has to suck preparing for these and seeing the damage afterwards. they were saying that if new orleans gets 6 inches of rain, all the crap they have fixed so far will be destroyed, and it will be worse than what happened the first time.

It looks like this thing is definately gonna hit Galveston. This is one of the strongest storms ever. Poor Galveston, seems like they get hit by the worst of storms.
