I recently accepted the challenge to raise funds to support the Komen Southern Nevada Race for the Cure on May 5th 2007 in the fight against breast cancer. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime and the more we raise, the more the Southern Nevada Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure can give back to fund vital breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in our own community and support the national search for a cure.

Sorry bro, I didn't see this until just now. 02.gif How did the event go?

 

It went pretty well. I got there and was a bit confused because this was my first year on where to go and all, but that didn't last long. I gathered a total of $140 for the cause, but next year I'll make sure I get more even if I have to knock on every door in Las Vegas, lol.

 

Maybe we can arrange a fund raiser in January or something.
