Hasta everyone...
Heya guys, it's round 2. I'm out for awhile again, I've got surgury again tomorrow. Shouldn't be as bad as the first (I made the doctor sign a promisory note that they won't give me morphine this time), but I will be in a cast and a wheelchair for 6 to 8 weeks.
Went from having a bunionectomy to getting my right big toe fused.
What a life eh?
Anyone know how to go about suing a military doctor?

Oh man Redz, I'm very sorry to hear this. I'd get a lawyer as soon as you get out. Looks like somebody maybe getting ALOT of money in the future. More important then that, I hope you get better

No, this is a second surgury, I just got lucky enough to have them both within a week.

The doctors in the Active Military told me I had Gout, or sprained my toe.
Now I find out I've got serious arthritus in the joint and NO cartlidge.

Got to love the Army Doctors, they wanted to cut my shoulder after a motorcycle accident cause I had a 2° AC sepration. I opted not to and it really hasn't gave me too much trouble.
I have a friend that is active with 21 years and they did back surgery on him about 6-8 months ago and he hasn't been able to sleep in a bed since, the only way he can sleep is in a chair.

My father has artificial hips.. thanks to the Military... first they gave him massive and prolonged doses of cortizone for his intestines... well, cortizone can and will eat bone mass.. it ate his hips... they they wound up replacing both hips.. the right one went in perfect.. the left is off by several degrees so that he can only lift that leg an inch off of the when walking..
They almost killed him on the table too.. sugeon nicked the femoral artery.
So all I can say Redz... good luck! Just think, with a fused big toe, it will be easier to ram up somebody's behind with a good swift kick to the rear.
