i played the prerelease version like 5 months ago, and it was alright but not worth the money if u ask me. at the time i played it the oversteer and understeer was still exagerated quite a bit. dunno if they fixed it though

here's what I've heard from a guy at work (I haven't played it).
It's similar to NFSU, but it's based more on reputation. The more you hit/bump other racers, the less they like you, and the harder it is to progress. If you're a clean driver, you'll progress a lot faster. Lots of mods, lots of courses. The guy at work played NFSU 1 & 2 a lot, and he's logging in hours of play each night. If it came out for the GameCube, I'd buy it.

The problem with the game is that it is dated. It was supposed to come out 6 months ago, but some company went under, so another company had to pick up the game to sell it.

Either way, I hate these type of games.

I never buy games anymore. I just rent 'em, play the hell outta them for five days, then return them. If its a really good game (Halo, Super Smash Bros. Melee, etc.) I'll go back and buy it. fing02.gif

I've watched my friend play it, its very NFSU, except for racing for pinks (I made him wreck and lose his car by throwing hamburgers at him lmao.gif) and taking turns is a lot harder. No 110MPH turns like on NFSU. drillsergeant.gif

See I got the feel of it being more like SRS- Street Racing Syndicate. It's fun to a point, but I just like the driving feel of it. It seems a little slow as far as the driving inputs go. If your looking for the feel of say GT:3 or 4, then it's not in this game. But I still like it and play everyday.
