yeah the real fun is at 100. man... i remember that day. i was stuck in horrible daily traffic and i looked down to see the zero change over. except it didn't quite make it because i was going less than a mile per hour when the whole meter budged over.

What brand and grade of oil do you use? What oil filter do you use and what kind of wax do you use?
Well, just remember to change the timing belt and give it a major tune up.

The oil used is texaco's brand stuff and they use fram filters.
I checked the timing belt a while ago and it was fine.. I was going to get it changed but then I read that thread by patreezy about him changing to a really good one and it snapping.
TBH I would rather leave well alone, not fix what isnt broken and so on..
I flushed the trans and changed the filter last november, so the tranny is good, and I did the brakes then too..
I will need to change the brakepads again by the end of the year..not cos I have to but because it only costs $21 for a full set of semi metallic pads and takes about an hour..
I'm all about preventitive maintainance smile.gif
Edit..
Tune up yah, done that too.. NGK quad platinums and new 12mm magstar wires..
Love my tibby so I do smile.gif

Replacing a timing belt IS a preventive maintenance..
If you don't replace what ain't broken (about the timing belt), you can say bye-bye to your motor. You don't want to wait for it to break.
