I've never been a fan of video game baed movies. I think this is a big step down for Mr. Jackson, but if anyone can pull it off, it's him.
The last video game based movie I saw in a threatre was Tron waaay back in the day...lol

 

I don't like the sudden fad of making games into moves (Doom, etc), but I don't think there is a better person for it than Peter Jackson.

Look at LOTR and King Kong that's coming out....they look amazing.

 

Dude, I'd expect GREAT things from this.

 

Peter Jackson is producing, not directing. Which in the end means pretty much diddly squat.

He's a Halo freak, and producers have lots of say in what happens.

 

i think it would be cool as hell... halo: the movie. as long as its not too weird and they dont make it like a bad star trek movie or something...

i also think the boyz from red vs. blue need to make a full length movie based off the humor and things they do with their episodes... their stuff is hilarious.

 

i just better see a lot of people dying damnit...

I totally agree with the red vs. blue thing. But this movie, reguardless if it will be amazing or just suck... I gotta see it!!

and jaws, it wouldnt surprise me at all if some people did! Theres lotsa dedicated halo fans out there
