that's funny as sh*t. not the damage, but that the presidential estate is this luxurious mansion that looks better than our own White House yet the country is one of the poorest most miserable places on earth.

that's something that just happens in third world countries. the rich/poor gap is huge. Ever been to mexico?
not to be preachy but this was just like katrina and asian tsunami. no one loled at those so honestly shame on you guys.

other than the looting and shooting, i don't think this is comparable to Katrina at all for many reasons i won't mention. it's not as much about the gap between rich vs. poor, such as favelas where the government still exists in proper form but the people are divided both financially and geographically, as it is the government enjoying all of the luxuries and improperly using them for their own greed. look at Mugabe. children dying of Malaria and other nasty little viruses and he's got 20 Mercedes to be driven in, and his Army have brand new rifles to march around with while managing to get themselves in debt. two different things here.
