the 90's kicked ass for music even though i didn't really like much of it. then towards the last of the 90's and once the millenium came rap, rock, most metal was totally destroyed and since then everyone on the bandwagon sold out and became rich overnight. limp bizkit 3 dollar bill 'yo nana.gif

Transitional period for me. Went from rap/r&b to alternative. It's funny that alot of the stuff I heard in the late 80's like Jane's Addiction, SoundGarden, Mother Love Bone, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Korn (to name a few) I didn't like at all. And then when I heard Smells Like Teen Spirit that changed everything. Probably had something to do with me starting college in 1990 with all the best intentions and a 3.something gpa and ending up in 91' broke and working 80 hours a week to support myself (long story!)
