It is a blatant overstepping of reasonable domestic intelligence gathering. Opponents of him coming forward cite that this program was legal and approved by congress. That's the exact reason why it is critical to come forward. People couldn't be outraged about this invasion if they didn't know it was happening. The general public should know about something like this.

If, as alleged, "we" are wiretapping the sh*t out of everything with an IP address, that's a problem and we need to knock it off. If we are going by the letter of the law and you still don't like it, good luck with that.
