Ok...I read alot about how some people get confused as to what that "techno" song was they heard on the radio, or the a website, or at the club. Since Techno is just a FORM of electronic music, I figured I would post this so people can understand why genres are out there, and how they're broken down.

I've been in the rave scene for a long time, and my personal choice is Jungle, Drum N bass, Breakbeat (Florida Breaks to be exact) and some UK Hard House.

That link above will explain and give samples of all the different genres out there. smile.gif

Wow, checking it out.

Yeah, I hate having to tell folks what kind of music I like.

I'm like "I listen to a lot of electronica music. The Crystal Method and Uberzone."

They are all, "Oh, I hate techno."

Then I say, "So do I."

Everyone gets confused.

LOL

That's awesome, my favorite music is electronic. I listen to a lot of cool music out there that nobody knows about which primarily consists of uplifting progressive remixes.

We should share what we got, I'm in the midst of posting up some music for everyone to hear. It's all for the girels.

One of my friends hates my music because he always thinks I hate everything, from every movie that ever comes out to the radio to every new music that is out. And I recently had him burn a cd for me to which he admitted he really really liked. I've also driven some chick friends around and they say they love my music even with the volume nearly all the way down they noticed!! Electronic music is all about girls and girls dancing. It's all about love and the experience of it. I think it's the best quality music out there, and it does take musical talent to produce attractive music that reflects lifes heartbeat.

This is one of my favorite types of music. Some songs have a lot of depth to them and really just make you think. Their great to dance to and listen to while driving.

Cool site, I didnt know there were so many genres within genres in this type of music.

so true. Go to a rave, a good rave, not one they call a rave and just have a radio DJ playin played out songs...that's not a rave. And you will see what dancing and having a GOOD time is all about. Everyone is so g'damn friendly.... LOL

and if you REALLY, I mean really, really, really (like on speed really), like to dance... go to a Goa Trance, NRG rave and listen to a DJ's entire set... OMFG>
