I ended up with a pile of 5 books for presents too. One I asked for, the others were "We know you like this stuff" books.
One HUGE book about the beginning of WWI.
A book about D Day, mostly made from reports and interviews with famous commanders and personnel that were there.
The latest in the Larry Bond "First Team" series, in HARDBACK, just came out last month, I can't wait to read that one.
A really nice picture book about the universe and astronomy. Love it.
I forget what else.
Oh, and a copy of Pirates of the Carribean 2, and a really nice home made cake. Strawberry with Chocolate frosting.
