hopefully the Solstice will knock some sense into them.. but you have to remember.. unlike other makers.. GM is RULED by their accountants.. not the enthusiasts.

Solstice. glad you brought it up.... i think the Pontiac branded car is fugly... the Saturn Sky is a BEAUTIFUL car. the front end of the Soltice is terrible

but its looking to be a model GM will cash in on

I agree the Saturn Sky looks much better then the Solstice. But did anybody notice the wimpy horsepower these "sports" cars are putting out??

I read a mag with a solstice with a v8 that had like 400+hp. I think 0-60 was around 5.5

These little cars are so damn heavy because they are all drop tops and have to stiffen the chassis to compensate.

The Solstice they are selling now has a four cylinder engine putting out 170hp. So I guess they swapped a motor in the solstice you saw in the magazine hehe.

The Solstice also makes me wanna hurl. I very much dislike Pontiac and Saturns. I can't name one that I like.

actually.. the chassis of the solstice, Sky, and Opel Gt were designed from the beginning to be converables, so do not weight execessivly too much for reinforcement. However, save for the elise.. ALL new cars are getting very heavy.
