Overall Length: 34.25"

Chrome Lined Barrel. Does not include compensator, bayonet lug or bayonet. Comes with (5) 10 round magazines and cleaning kit. This is the LOCAP model which means the magwell would have to be modified in order to fit the preban double-stack 30 round magazines.

I am working on getting a price to have this modification done at a local machine shop. Please let us know if you would like this modification done before picking up your rifle.

If we get 5 buyers, the price will be $449.99+tax, and if we get 10 buyers, the price will be $399.99+tax. Prices include shipping to FFL of your choice, or transfer at our location.

I prefer my Saiga, bought it for $329. If I wanted another AK I would buy a parts kit and stamp out a receiver. Total cost, usually $150-$300 depending on the components you can use.

In some countries, they have children making AK's in the town markets. They'll hammer the receiver out of a piece of flat steel while you wait.

Saiga for $385

or

AK-47 parts kit (cut receiver, you have to buy or manufacture a receiver)

For building a receiver:
Receiver flats
Flat bending jig
or
80% complete AK receivers
AK build rivets
Barrel press
Headspace gauges

The cheapest way to get this done is to find a local AK build party. They're often held by someone who has bought the flat bending jig, barrel press, and headspace gauges already and they'll have a group over and everyone will build their AKs. Usually they either don't charge, or charge a little just to recoup their initial investment over a few build parties. There are guys around here that even loan out their tools to trustworthy people. I don't know exactly where you are, but you can look for local build parties on local sites like this or THR and AR15.com.

Any rifle you assemble has to be 922r compliant, using no more than 10 foreign made parts (from their specific list, other foreign parts are okay). So if you get an AK parts kit you have to make sure that you don't use more than 10 foreign parts. It's pretty easy to use enough US made parts though, just have to keep it in mind.

If you have any other questions just ask and I'll help however I can.

for anyone following 922r compliant goes something like this:

You may only have 10 foreign made parts on a rifle. So basically you have to replace a part with another part that does the exact same thing only it has to have MADE IN THE USA on it. ITs bullshit but thats what happens when the government doesn't want you to have guns.

Floyd, when would you register the gun? or does the kit need to be transferred via FFL?

You never have to register the gun unless you go to sell it. See letter from the ATF here.

The receiver is considered the "firearm". The parts kits do not include a functional receiver so do not need to be transferred through an FFL.
