when I was 12 my grandpa said he'd take me anywhere in the world for two weeks. I went to England, Austria, and Germany to look at castles. Where would you go?

Wow! That would be cool to be able to do that for your grandkids. I have been to England and Germany. I have never set foot in Austria, but I did fly over the Austrian alps on the way to and from Bosnia.

And boy were his arms tired! lol.gif

Seriously.. I have relatives in England still I would like to visit someday. I supposedly have more in Germany.. but it was a family fight that prompted that side of my family to relocate to the US in the first place.. Nobody living knows who they are.

for my high school senior trip I went with a bunch of people (mostly friends) to Europe for 14 days.

Landed in amsterdam and spent a few days (20-25 teenagers loose in amsterdam, what could be wilder?), drove through Belgium, Stayed in Germany, Stayed in Paris for 3 nights, took hovercraft over English channel and spent 2 days in London, took overnight train to Scotland (loved it the most).

I loved that trip and wish I could do it again with the same people. I've never had so much fun... and the parties we had in the hotels were the best >;-]

senior week and senior trip were the best weeks of my life. smugglers notch vermont for senior trip. and we got stuck there 3 extra days with free lift tickets cause of that big ass storm last year on the east coast. for senior week, i was able to fit 7-30 packs in the tibby. it was riding real low, and im lucky i didnt get pulled over. 5 of the thirty packs were mine, and someone else gave me a 18 pack for letting them stay with us for a couple nights. i ended up with the final four beers on my balcony, on the last night, watching the sun come up. good times i tell ya!

sounds familiar... I was rooming with 3 other guys on my trip to Europe and we got the largest room in Scotland (4 bedroom suite) because we had the most people... so everybody got the last $$ they had, since it was the last night, and we bought all the alcohol we could. Out of the 20 people... our room had 17 empty bottles of liquor (stuff like vodka, bicardi, etc.), 28 empty beer bottles, and 17 cuban cigar butts... we also searched all of our bags for the last little bit of hash from our visit to Amsterdam... luckily somebody found some laugh.gif

those were the days.....

on to the topic of food, i like saefood a lot. i usually get free stuff too because i work right next to the seafood department of my grocery store. and solo, im a pretty small guy. only like 5'9/160. i just hadnt eaten anything all day untill 7:00.
