You'll have to understand, some people will love it, some will hate it. I've taken hate for years online... it doesn't bother me. I enjoy my car, and learn through the process.

Your car is extreme, whether it's the paint or the mods, you have a lot done. People will find anything to complain about. As long as you can put down high HP numbers to back it up, they don't have much to say. It doesn't matter if you're 225 turbo'd and they're 260 stock, you put in the effort to make things happen rather than buying it off the showroom floor. Work on your car and take pride in it. Don't become boastful and think you're better than everyone, and don't worry about other people's comments. It's the internet, most of them wouldn't be ballsy enough to say it in person in fear of getting smacked down.

By the way... a few of them seem pretty young and immature; more reason not to let it bother you

our car's arent that popular, hell I didnt even like mine at first but now I'm in love with RD's.

Of course it would be nice if we had a huge aftermarket, especially when it came to performance but oh well I love our little cars.

 

I fell in love with our cars when I was 16. I think you've done wonders to yours and I would like to have some similar work in mine. Just keep up the good work and don't listen to them.

I think one of these days you should break down and have a professional photo shoot done.

 

DTN I'd love to have a professional shoot done, I need to get my bodywork straight before I can repaint it, its SO hard to make the front edge of the sideskirt look right without molding it, and I definitley don't want to mold it because if I need to do anything on my doors it will ruin my whole paint job.

FACK.

But I did finish my enclosure and now (crossing my fingers) my hatch lifts won't hit it. It's still not as nice as I'd like it to be. if my motor doesn't suck me dry the rest of the year then I'm considering a whole new setup.

 

if we're all able to make it to NOPI Nats this year, I'm more than willing to take the best pics I can of everyone's car. We'll have to find a nice backdrop for them and get everyone together. I'll bring my tripod and Canon Rebel XTi 10.1mp cool.gif
