If you look in teh new VW mags, there are people puttin' Subie motors into them things. Imagine a stock WRX EJ20 puttin down 220 crank strapped to a Karmann Ghia! Hot VWs did a feature on one.

old news with the suby motors. People have been dropping them into Vanagons (remember them?) for years. Makes a nice "vanaru"
