After Trump Jr's speech, why aren't we nominating HIM for President? That guy can get a rally going!

 

Well, I can now add Ted Cruz to the lying sack of shits with no integrity. He took the oath as well. His policies are similar, so this has to just be personal due to the pissing contests. I was on his side through most of the primaries, but this sealed the deal for me on whether to ever like him again. I'm also thinking everyone else feels the same and his career is done.

 

His career is definitely over. I read where a few people stated that a 2020 run might be on the books for him, but no one will back him after this little stint. He my as well turn Democrat and go join Hillary because he's probably the #1 most hated man on the GOP side now.

 

Who watched Trumps speech last night?

 

I did. Thought it was fairly positive. It sounded as if he recycled all the same things, but reworded them slightly according to the critiques he received for the past year. For example, he made sure to say "ILLEGALS crossing our border" instead of "Mexicans crossing our border", so that no one would could confuse his intentions, again. Sad that he has to do that, but at least he's evolving.

I'm glad the LGBT support went over well with the GOP.

 

I think if Trump keeps polishing up his act and the way he words things, Hillary should be very worried. He did a good job with picking Pence as his VP pick because Pence has really good support. The big thing that Trump can easily say he'll earn votes from are military and people who have worked at companies that laid them off and moved away. Hillary will never earn those peoples votes.

 

Looks like he's gonna get a bigger bump just by laying low and letting Hillary self destruct.
