Just got it and wow it is fast. Only thing that I don't like. I use a program that manages my dual monitors. It places 2 buttons in the task bar of ever window so I can just click to switch screens or maximize across both. Since it appears that this browser doesn't have a normal window bar at the top I have lost those buttons.

Also, I don't like how there is no menu across the top, it has 2 buttons on the side like the new version of IE and I HATE that...but that just my opinion

I use my keyboard mostly to navigate, so it hasn't affected me much. I do hate the new IE7 look, and not thrilled about Google's appearance, but it does appear to be simplifying the browser a little more and making it more of a BROWSER without the fluff. I like the tab page, showing the most popular sites and just clicking on it.

it'll take some time to get used to. Some things I'm iffy about, some I like.

Anything that takes away from Microsoft is good. Microsoft has been battling more and more for the browser and the search engine markets. In the last three years, I think they dropped from ~85% to ~63% of the browser share, with Firefox being 2nd around 20%. I can't remember exact numbers, but I see Google just taking a bigger chunk out of Microsoft everytime I turn around.

Anyone notice you can open a new tab "incognito"? Cool...

You've gone incognito. Pages you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close the incognito window. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be preserved, however.

Going incognito doesn't affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:
Websites that collect or share information about you
Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
Surveillance by secret agents
People standing behind you

As a web developer I use a lot of browsers extensively, and Chrome doesn't do anything that firefox doesn't already do better for me. I think that the interface is uninspired, as it follows the minimalist style that google likes so much, but that hasn't worked nearly as well with their newer, more complex products. After my initial glance through and reading the benifits, I can safely say that there is no reason for me to switch from Firefox as my main browser.

I'm gonna go ahead and predict right now that this doesn't take off. I understand that google generally has the golden touch, but I feel like this is going to go the way of a lot of google's more obscure apps then the way of gmail.
