A service provided by google so that you can organize all your events in one place.

Ok, seems harmless. Go ahead and read the privacy statements about your information that google has the right to look into.

http://www.google.com/googlecalendar...cy_policy.html

"Invitations and event notices. In order to manage your invitations, when you invite other people to Calendar events, we collect and maintain information associated with those invitations, including email addresses, dates and times of the events, and any responses from guests"

Does anyone see whats happening to our world? We are moving towards being completely track-able mindless zombies controlled by the information we willingly give them.

Our courts are already sepeanaing information from google, who is to say 5 years down the road the police dont surf the web looking through our events and activities regulating them.

THIS IS NOT THE FUTURE I WANT TO LIVE IN. I want everyone on this forum to look through this products google offers and look at their privacy statements associated with each of them.

I do not even let people take my picture just in case somebody wants to put it on the net. There is NO way I am putting my schedule/Calender on the net for ANYBODY else to read. I do not even like looking at it.. and I work at so many different places and for so many different companies, I need to glance at it at least once a day.

I'm sure the practical solution would be to say, "Patrick... STFU and just don't share information with Google Calendar you don't want viewed by the public, prying eyes, or the police...

But the point is..

Google is taking over, we need to stop it. It's like that sky thing in terminator that's going to bomb us after we let it control everything.

Stop worrying, good Lord that is a MOVIE. If a terrorist had Google Calendar and they could use it to find him before he did something in America would you care then?

God people are so full of themselves thinking Google cares if you are meeting with your auntie on wednesday night to eat corned beef sandwhiches. They don't care, and if they did, then they are the only ones who do.
