lol thanks, plus whats a turbo kit w/ out an exaust?

I guess you could sell your header if you decide to go turbo as your header will become useless..

yea well after a couple more mods.... (airram, bbtb, 1.8l intake cam and s-afc2) i'll be done w/ my engine for awhile and im going to start working on the exterior of my car. Maybe after thats all done then i'll end up going turbo but thats not going to be for along time.

I got to hear basically what the exaust is going to sound like but what about these headers? One....what are they going to do to the sound of the exaust? And 2nd i've had ppl tell me that headers sound crazy. What kinda sound am i suppose to expect?

I know that my car got louder and deeper with my exhaust and header..don't know how it will sound with your combination but I'll willing to bet it's gonna sound good.

I've never heard anyone complain about the sound off of the KSpec headers. It should sound pretty sick. It should keep the deep gurgle the Apexi has. You really should feel a great gain with these two items. Granted 15-20 horsies isn't a lot for 1k, but we are dealing with a 4-cylinder. If you think about its, its like a 15% gain. tongue.gif

yea, i mean either way im excited. Looks like the Apexi exaust put down some good numbers from what i hear/ see on the dyno. And im not exactly sure about the headers and how much power im going to get from them but i know i'll be able to feel it thats for sure.

Headers are one of the best upgrades for our cars smile.gif Shaved off about half a second in a 1/4 mi for me with stock exhaust, so the header didn't have a full potential. Now add a very nice exhaust and you will see some mad gains!!!

While I think conditions/traction played into OPs major track gains (0.1 seconds is equivalent to 5whp about at the Tib's level... I doubt header on a stock exhaust gave you 25whp), a header is a great addition. The GT header which you bought should flow better than a header with a design like SSA. Exhaust should flow better as well. If I assume your car is in decent shape (I think you have an intake already and thats it?) your car should put down another 15-20whp, putting you around 135-145whp depending on your cars condition and transmission. After I/H/E the hp gets harder to get though. smile.gif

yes your correct i do just have a CAI right now. After i get these i'll install them as soon as it starts to warm up along w/ my Short shifter. Then i'll be looking foward to the Airram GB and i'll be hopfully adding a BBTB to that purchase. Looks like i better start saving up again.

I feel like i got the biggest Combo purchase done. It was some what expensive but now everything else i buy at one time like Airram/BBTB will be cheaper so that feels good to know.
