I'm not so much of a fighter, let alone a quick-witted retalitory insulting person so I don't know what to say when someone slags my Tiburon, or the fact that I drive a Hyundai.
What do you folks say in responce when someone gives you a real hard time about driving a Tib?

actually, no one ever pokes fun at my tib, except my friends. but old mustangs, auto eclipses, and non turbo auto talons are easy kills. shuts them up quickly:wink:
you could always print this up with a picture of you flicking them off and give it to them.

usually my bf gives me shit about driving a hyundai and i just say "yeah...i know" his toyota is 16 years old...in all seriousness, i doubt my tibby can make it that long. i know hyundai have improved a TON from the early 90's, but still...
don't get me wrong...i love my car and when people talk stuff about it i get pissed....i have a quick wit and usually think of something to say, i just don't have the balls to spit it out half the time wink.gif

Belive it or not, I don't hear SHIT about it anymore.
Everyone says stuff like "Wow, nice car", or "Good lord, Hyundai makes some nice cars now eh?"
If they talk shit, I look at their Honda/Toyota/Ford/Chevy and say, "Wow, how original... Must only be like, you know, 40 million of them on the road."

HA... exactly... how many people in here went for the tibby because it was more uncommon than most cars.... i know thats what turned me on to it more or less.... i wanted a car that i really didnt see very often and yea i got one... there arent very many around but i know that since i have put the neons on it and people around my hometown have seen it... the dealerships are looking into them!

The main reason that I went for the tib IS becasue of the fact that there are so few out there that are done up at all with any modifications let along any cosmetics. There sure as heck aren't as many Tibs out there combined with all years than there are of ohh lets say.... J-body cars (Pontiac Sunflowers & Chevy Cavaliers) and Hondas.
But that's my choice I guess.
