Too expensive.

I would never pay more then $20k for a pickup. And for $20k it had better be one damn nice pickup. I would not buy it new either.

Sierra 1500 base price: $20,850
Sierra Denali HD loaded price: $56,911

There is no way that you can option a vehicle well enough to make it worth well over twice what the base vehicle costs. No way in hell.

Ford is even worse. Base F-150 price: $21,820.
Loaded F-350 Harley-Davidson price: $60,880.

Nearly TRIPLE the cost of a base F-150.

There has never been a pickup that rolled off an assembly line worth $60k.

If I buy a truck that large, it's gonna be a diesel dually and it's going to earn it's keep. I'd finally put my CDL to good use.

I like the new Ford's.

I bought my King Ranch for $17k. The power, heated, saddle leather seats make it worth it. I actually like Chevy's, but the interior of the King Ranch blows them away.
