Where are you moving to?
Toxic, the important thing is to do it in moderation. If you work out too hard the first few times, you'll either hurt yourself, or wear yourself out and not want to keep up with it. Start off with something light like a quick paced walk for 25 to 30 minutes. Then some crunches with your arms on your chest and some girly pushups (Women hate pushups, but women and men love what they do for women. LOL).
Big thing is, STRETCH. Drink lots of water. Stop drining regular soda, cringe, and start drining diet sodas. It takes a week or so to get used to the flavor, but when you do, you'll be fine. Don't eat anything considerable after 7 or 8 at night. Try some of the LIGHTER stuff you see and make sure you don't cut out the things you love to eat, just eat them a bit less.

Well I go for jobs/walks in the wooded trail behind my house every morning when I come home from work. And when you say not to eat after 7 or 8 at night... lol I work midnight shift. I'm awake from about 5pm to 9am so I guess I wouldn't eat after 6am, lol. Plus, I don't drink soda EVER. I positively HATE soda now. I was drinking a lot of iced tea and gatorade for a while... now I'm on a Crystal Light kick. Strawberry-Orange-Banana is so good, lol.

Just give up sodas...it will be much better. Eat the same things you like but eat less. IE I love taco bell, I would usually have 4 tacos, but now I just get 2 and a water, helps a little bit.
Here is a good site where you can see what kind of exercises you should be doing...

Heh, thanks. I don't drink soda, so that's not a problem for me. wink1.gif And yeah, I have been eating a lot less lately just because I don't really FEEL like eating. When I do eat, I'm eating salad or this fruit bowls from work that are insanely good. Keep in mind, I've been doing this for a few weeks BEFORE I wanted to get in shape, lol.

I recently read a report where it can make you gain weight. Not from the soda itself.. but from the empty calories. You body thinks that you are taking in calories, all the signs are there..
Sorry bro, but that's horseshit. That's like saying if I put a resistor on my IAT and make my ECU think I'm sucking in colder air I'll have more power. Your body doen't think it's taking in calories. If something doesn't have calories (A calorie is just a measure of energy, how much energy it takes to heat one L of water one degree, if I remember correctly), you aren't taking any in. There IS water weight, and sodium is something you have to worry about with Diet drinks.
The thing is, if you are eating and drinking whatever, and not GAINING weight or getting flabbier, just some simple changes will make you LOSE weight. With all my knee, back, and foot issues, I know how hard it can be to start losing that weight. But when you do, even just a BIT of extra work, can do wonders.
2 Pounds this week.
Yes, the diet soda thing is true. There are 2 explanations for it:
First, most diet sodas contain aspartame, which in turn contains phenylalanine. Phenylalanine will block the production of serotonin in your brain. Serotonin is the chemical which controls food cravings. So when your serotonin gets blocked, your body begins to crave food, and you eat more as a result.
Secondly, the sweet taste of diet sodas cause your body to release insulin. Normally insulin will take the sugar in food and break it down into glucose. When your body discovers that there isn't any sugar to break down, you start to crave sugary food. So the bottom line is that diet sodas will make you crave the type of carb-heavy sugary foods that you are trying to avoid.
Back on topic, read this site and treat it like the bible: http://www.stumptuous.com/weights.html

Situps are not as hard as you think you just need to get in to a rhythm and you will do a buch with out thinking about it.
I could yell at you to do drillsergeant.gif Front Back Goes drillsergeant.gif . they a good all body workout
^Don't you mean crunches?
AVOID SIT-UPS. These old-fashioned exercises are almost always done incorrectly, putting extra unnecessary and unhealthy pressure on the lower back while failing to fully train the abdominal muscles.
That can be looked up on any health and body site. wink1.gif
