Car and Driver had an article about the genesis today with a bunch of nice pictures and a lot of really good things to say about it. They are super impressed with the looks, specs, and price point. Also of note: According to C&D this could well end up being the next tiburon.

the "BK" as they are calling the chassis code got some very nice words from C&D. I read the article and they are actually looking forwards to driving it once it gets beyond the concept stage

it seems everybodys complaint for a turboed tibby finally paid off... and i
thought it could never happen, you can either go with the 6 banger, or the 4 with a turbo.
and in 2009,
i think im going to start saving my pennies. because for 25000 you can get the v6, and then for less the Turboed V-4
plus the brembo break package!!
life is good.

Of course people will say that all the letters we wrote to hyundai pleading for a turbo'd RWD coupe didnt help one bit.
It may not have, but it certainly didn't hurt.
They have a mini article about the genesis coupe in the new Sport Compact Car Mag, they also had nothing but nice things to say (they joked and called it the Hyundai Silvia) the page before the GTR article, fitting haha.
It will be sitting in my driveway, count on it. :-D

I better get my lil act together if I'm gonna be at the front lines of tuning these things! I can't wait. This feels just like back in 02 when I was looking at the GK about to come out. All of the sudden, "Drifting a Hyundai" wont be an oxymoron. This is why I wont leave this community!
