Wow, just as I suspected on the Veloster.

Pricing for the Coupe isn't bad, but the I4 is a few grand more than I thought. All in all though, things are looking VERY good.

I still want the Genesis Coupe, but I can't wait to see what the production version of the Veloster looks like.

Wow. Prices are awesome. I love all the details that article gave. I think Ill go for the 2.0T Track model. Seems to be just what I was for $26,000.

we've known there was going to be a new Tiburon for some time, Hyundai has said for years that a new one would come out in 2010. The Veloster was heavily guessed to be the replacement since the concept came out, and it got received so well, that it looks like it's there.

I don't remember seeing a R Spec Coupe in the brochure.

That's right around the price I have been looking to spend on a new car. As I would love to have it, I can't afford to have 2 cars and store a RWD in the winter :-/

^haha.

that's not the last of the news. here's what you can expect from the European design center in Germany:

"Hyundai HED-6 concept
Korean automaker Hyundai will be unveiling its new HED-6 concept car at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

Created at Hyundai's European Design headquarters in Rüsselsheim, Germany, the concept has been designed with everyday utility in mind, and is claimed to fit comfortably in urban or out-of-town environments. Exterior design elements include a sculpted backlight (realized through the use of Lexan plastic instead of glass), a hexagonal grille, angular feature lines and back-swept front headlamps. 'Ice Blue' exterior paint emphasizes the exterior form while 21-inch alloy wheels complete the look.

Powered by a 1.6-liter GDi turbocharged engine, the HED-6 concept is said to be a clear indication of the direction Hyundai will take with its next generation of SUVs."

i don't think the Tiburon name will carry over, or else they wouldn't have officially "dropped" the name. but we have to see.
