GEEZ!! The Hyundai Defending I do over here should earn me a medal...
I reguarly go to the anandtech forums, esp the Off Topic Forum, http://forums.anandtech.com/ and there are always posts about which car should I get and ppl are always telling them get a Civic, or Sentra. So I metion Hyundai, and the Elantra or how Hyundai has come so far in so little time.
It's amazing how many people don't realize how good thier cars really are.
I mean I own 3 cars, only 1 is a Hyundai, but man.. people need to do some research before the open the mouth sometimes.

I was surprised with how many people over there actually agree that Hyundai is a good car.

In the last 5 years i have changed four cars,and tiburon that i have now is the best.I used to have a mercedes 190e 1.8,a toyota corolla gti 1.6 16v,a toyota supra 5M GE 2800cc(170hp)and now the perfect tiburon.Hyundai may have started not so good but now it is one of the best car manufacturers.So far i have no problem apart from the regular services that i make.Although japanese cars are really good i think that koreans are pushing them hard.Finally in my country Greece(EUROPE)Hyundai co.is the number one at sellings.The most popular car is hyundai accent and not even japanese,german although we are in europe and european cars are more cheap to buy.C U Turboman

Well all those guys who buy a civic to tune are overspending (just my opinion)
Civic Si base around $18gs
Tiburon base around $14gs
Yeah the civic has 20hp more but only at 6000rpm
I have raced them and won (maybe they can't drive, I don't know)not to mention $4gs will buy a lot of performance mods.
When I meet with the local club here I get lots of props from the Honda boys and get more attention then some of the more fixed up rides.
Oh yeah I have not ever lost to a Honda yet but I have some buddies that if I ever do race will smoke me. But they are running some mad mods.
