This is a great chart that shows how much more expensive (or cheaper) gas is in other countries. .09 per gallon in Venezuala...

^Hahaha! That's pretty bad, but it's a fairly small country and they don't drive a lot in Denmark. It does however, hurt the shipping industry.
I'm surprised that there aren't truck driver strikes going on in the States!

Drivers are reimbursed by their companies. The cost of everything is going up because the companies pass the cost on to you. High fuel costs crush the spending power of the dollars in the middle class man's pocket.
