Gas fireplace experts
I have a gas log fireplace and in preparation for the cold weather I lit the pilot light. It lights fine and I hit the wall switch to fire it up for a test. Well nothing happens when I hit the switch. I play with the pilot knob and get it to fire up. The switch works and turns on and off as it should.
However, when I leave the switch on the wall off and go back an hour later to flip it on- nothing happens. My question is what could the issue be? I was able to get it restarted using the same method, but as soon as I leave it off the wall switch quits working.
I dont know the brand of the insert, but there are three settings on the front. Switch on, off, and remote access. Anybody had the same issue?
