Full moon or something?!
Last night I had more races than in the past 2 months. Was it national street race night or something I didn't know about?
First I raced a new style Merc Cougar, it was a V6 and should have beat me. If not for a car in his lane he would have, but I'll take my win anyway I can get it. Then I raced a Honda Civic EX that I smoked. He got me off the line, my car is sluggish up until 3k RPM, then I blew past him. He somehow got in front of me later and then we turned on a long stretch of highway. I have babied my car for a while and never broke 100mph, but last night I hit 110mph. The car handled so well, I was overjoyed. I felt like I still could have passed him, but it was a single lane each way and I wasn't trying to kill anyone. We got to a stoplight and the Civic put his window down and said,"That thing (my tib) is a lot faster than I thought!".What could I say, I was blown away by his comment. Most Honda guys around here are BIG a$$holes. I thought it was great to get respect from a Honda enthusiast. It was a great night, did anyone race a lot last night?

I've been noticing for the last week or so that I have been seeing a LOT of hooked up cars.
One night 2 asian chicks in a civic modified to look like a BMW 3-series talked with me at a stop light. Then...the same night, my car cleared out a starbucks as a bunch of Honda/Accura guys came out to scope out my ride. They asked questions for about 20 minutes before they would let me drive off, but they all liked it. Then there have been 3 or 4 guys who have wanted to race me, either on the freeway or side streets, but since I did not judge it safe to attempt, I just let them go.
